Delirious Continues Support For AIDS Charities
British worship rock band Delirious, now on tour in the United States, will return to London, England, on May 11 to perform at a charity concert for the Cry In The Dark organization. Cry In The Dark operates an orphanage in Romania and is now raising funds to build a hospice for children with HIV/AIDS.
Delirious has offered outspoken support for AIDS charities around the world. In addition to its involvement with Cry In The Dark, the band recorded a cover of U2's "Pride (In The Name Of Love)" for IN THE NAME OF LOVE: ARTISTS UNITED FOR AFRICA. The all-star CD, which also includes exclusive new tracks from tobyMac, Chris Tomlin, Sanctus Real, Audio Adrenaline, Nichole Nordeman, and more, is specifically raising funds for the disease plagued African village of Mwakankomba in Zambia.
Delirious also directs fans to the Hope HIV charity in the liner notes of its brand new album, WORLD SERVICE, which has brought the band its best media reviews, biggest radio hits ("Rain Down," "Inside Outside"), and strongest international acclaim since the breakthrough 1997 release, CUTTING EDGE.
